Asking $7000.00 OBO I have owned this car for the last 18 years. In that time, I have put less than 4,000 miles on it. This is my true 2nd car. The previous owner completely redid the car. I am the 4th owner of the car. The car has never been in an accident. The car has no rust on it. Since I have owned the car, the car has never seen rain. The car only comes out on nice days. The car is in overall very nice shape. As I have just mentioned, there is no rust on the car. The body is in very good shape. The car was repainted red as can be seen in the photos. There are a few places where you can still see the original orange color. The engine and engine compartment are in very nice condition. The carb was redone with a weber down draft conversion. I redid the valve cover. The car has always started for me and run flawlessly. I have also never had any issues with the car. I have never encountered any of the typical British car electrical issues. The engine is in great shape and runs very strong. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The tires have a lot of tread left on them. The car drives great. Brakes are in great condition and when stepped on, the car stops true with no pull to either side. There is a slight shake at around 50mph that I cannot tell if this is an alignment issue or tire balancing issue. Honestly, I go a bit faster and the shake goes away. As can be seen in the pictures, the top has a few small tears. The interior overall is in very nice condition. The seats could use reupholstering. The seat cushions and webbing need to be redone only. The actual upholstery is in great shape. I have the foam cushions for both the bottom and back of the seat and the elastic webbing that I will include. The marks in the pictures on the driver’s side seat back upholstery are from sun glare. There is nothing wrong with the actual upholstery. The carpeting is in excellent condition. I have a carpet kit in the trunk purely for aesthetics. The jack and lug wrench are included. I redid the dashboard. I changed out the steering wheel and shift knob with wooden knobs. I have the original steering wheel and shift knob which I will include. There is an aftermarket AM / FM CD player with remote. I have the instruction manual for the radio which I will include. I do not have the original radio. All gauges and dials work. I also have the sun visors, an MG specific logo bra, the original toneau cover, and a car cover; all of which are included. The car cover has a few holes in it. I really hope to provide an accurate representation of the car so that you know exactly what you are getting with no surprises. As stated previously, the car runs and drives great. It starts up everytime for me. I would not hesitate to take this out on a trip. The car has 99096 miles and a clear title. I have classic tags on the car and would be willing to transfer them if you would like to keep the classic tag. Additional photos available upon request.
